Shopping
One of the many titles bestowed on Antwerp in the sixteenth century was ‘triomfelycke coopstad’ (triumphant shopping city). Even today, the city languishes in the accolades of shoppers in the know – shopping in Antwerp means pedestrian streets, historic dwellings and bustling shopping centres.
About Antwerp
Antwerp – city on the Scheldt, city of Rubens, of diamonds, of fashion, a port city… The sum of all these different aspects is what makes Antwerp into a real city: a vibrant, welcoming metropolis, which is also great fun and heart-warming, with green areas where you can relax and peaceful corners.
Antwerp is a veritable cultural capital, which prides itself on its impressive architecture and splendid art. Moreover, Antwerp is a fashionista’s dream destination thanks to the stores of its world-renowned designers. Antwerp: a pocket-sized metropolis which is sure to conquer anyone’s heart in no time at all.

Safety
Feeling unsafe? Call the Emergency Number: 112

Safety is a top priority for us!
Because before, during and after Antwerp Pride, you should be able to feel safe in and around our city. We are therefore proud that, as the only city in Belgium, uniformed and non-uniformed employees of the Antwerp Police Department are participating in the Antwerp Pride parade under the slogan "Proud to be your friend".

Antwerp also has a diversity team that specializes in countering hate crimes and professionalizing emergency services in and around Antwerp in terms of diversity.

Still a victim of crime but no longer in danger? Always report it!

You can scan it at the bar. Paying via the app is faster, you don't have to queue at the cash registers and it's safer for our volunteers. Just do it!
-
Can I have my credit refunded afterwards? You can do so via our app between Wednesday, August 14 and Wednesday, August 21, 2024. If you purchased a magnetic payment card at our box office, you can only have this credit refunded if you create an account via the app, and at our box offices have this credit transferred from the ticket to the app. This is only possible during the festival at our box offices. After the festival this is no longer possible. The cost for this is 2 euros. You don't want a refund? No problem! We invest your contribution in the next edition of Antwerp Pride. -
How much should I charge? You can choose this yourself! You can enter a random chosen price, or you can choose between different pre-programmed prices. Keep in mind that there is an additional transaction cost of 1 euro per top-up, so try to load your wallet as little as possible with several smaller amounts.
-
Can I buy drink-tokens beforehand? No, this year we don't use drink tokens. However this year we use a payment app. Which you can download here for Apple or for Android and already top up with funds.
