Our Mission
Antwerp Pride commemorates and celebrates the long journey the LGBTQIA+ community has made toward acceptance and equal opportunities. It's a journey that continues, as acceptance isn't a given, and we still see exclusion, discrimination, and violence against the LGBTQIA+ community, both domestically and abroad.

By providing a platform for the many voices within our community, we aim to strengthen it, inform society, and raise awareness of specific issues. We build bridges between the various stakeholders in our society: entrepreneurs, the city council, the cultural sector, NGOs, academia, and more.

The centerpiece of many Pride events is the Pride Parade. We also organize and/or support cultural, educational, activist, and sports initiatives. We always do this with a positive, solution-oriented, and collaborative approach, with deep empathy for minorities and groups at risk of marginalization. As a volunteer organization, we believe it's important that our activities foster connection.

Antwerp Pride has its roots in the LGBTQIA+ community, but we always seek connections with people and organizations in our city who share our passion for a diverse, inclusive, and engaged city. As a result, Antwerp Pride has developed into an event that unites and draws thousands of people to the city every year.
Our Team
We are a team of enthusiastic volunteers who all share the same goal: to organize a fantastic Antwerp Pride! Together we work hard to ensure that the event runs smoothly and becomes an unforgettable experience for all participants and visitors.
