As a queer arts festival, it goes without saying we have a love for films featuring queer artists.
With the impending war in Ukraine in the background, only 21 years old, Gena stages radical performances on the streets of Russia. By doing that, she wants to change people’s perception of beauty and queerness and bring attention to the harassment of the LGBTQ+ community. We listen as she calls with her grandparents, witnessing both their incomprehension as well as their unconditional love for their grandchild.
